Pre Op Diet

Hi I'm sure this has been asked before, but have not seen anything posted. I'm on a liquid protein shake fast for 10 days before my sleeve. My tongue has a white coating on it. Normal or a worry.

Idk if that is normal or not...hopefully someone that has done the pre op already can answer that for you...:)

I thought I saw someone post something about it having to do with acid in the stomach? I could be way off base though. I'd love to know too since I have had it too.

When your body detoxes your tongue gets white, also can be a sign of dehydration. So make sure you are getting enough water, and invest in a tongue scraper to help elliminate the toxins coming out of your tongue.
