Skim Milk With Extra Protein

I have seen posts on here about skim milk that has extra or added protein already in it. I live in Southern California and cannot find anything like this at any store (and I have lots of stores to choose from)! Will someone please tell me where they get this and what brand it is. I would appreciate it! Thanks.

Sorry posted here by mistake.

When I was on my pre-op diet' date=' we had to go out with some clients of my husbands to eat. I didn't want to look dumb, so I ordered the butternut squash Soup. Although it wasn't a clear liquid, it managed to fill me up a little and didn't harm anything. I came through the surgery with flying colors! Don't be hard on yourself if you cheat on the pre-op once. It's so easy to do. Just get back on track right away. You are doing this to shrink your liver so the surgery will go easier for your doctor, so you will find that it will be worth it.[/quote']

Did you mean to post this else wear? All she wanted to know about was milk. :)

Ohh haha i thought it was just areply, i got confused. ;)

I use skim plus. It has 11 g of protein per serving. I Am iin ny so I just get at my supermarket.

Check in the fridge section where they keep the "ultra pasteurized" milks. That's usually where they are. I buy "Simply Smart" fat free milk, which has 10 grams per cup.

They don't actually add protein to the milk, they filter out some of the water in the milk.

Thanks! I finally found this today and got some. I will have some tomorrow morning. Says it's creamier than regular skim milk. What do you think? It seems to have alot of carbs though doesn't it?

My Simply Smart has the same amount of carbs as regular skim milk - 13 grams. Milk is full of lactose, which is a sugar.
