Left Side Pain And Nausea

I am almost 3 weeks post op and have felt great until about 2 days ago. I have been having off and on left side pain and nausea. I was switched to a soft diet last week and started taking my vitamins and I wonder if that has something to do with that or if I have something more going on. I don't have a fever or anthing so I am hoping it is not a leak. Did any of you have this when your diet was changed or started taking vitamins?

Thanks for you help!

I don't know about the left side pain, but the nausea hit me pretty good when I got off of liquids and went to mushies. I think it was just a sign that the sleeve is still tender. I never upchucked but felt nauseated for 20 or 30 minutes after eating. My guess is that it is your sleeve's way of telling you "enough".

I had left side pain at 3 weeks other than that I felt great. It turned out to be a leak. Get it checked out, you don't want an infection also. Good luck, hope its nothing.

I hope it's nothing, too, but I always worry about the combo of pain and nausea because of seeing other people's experiences. Better to check it out and be safe, IMO.

Good luck!
