Only one trip. Everything else was done thru email, fax, phone. Plus my patient director is in the USA (who helps with nutritional support as well as a virtual gym partner when I get back home) and after I come home I have a list of requirements I have to follow for a year and remain on constant contact with the surgeons team and patient director(bp loss, weight chart, dietary info, etc)
