YES, there is no reason why you can't use the Heimlich on a bandster.

The reason I asked is that my port is exactly in the place where someone would put their fist in order to do the Heimlich on me.

There seems to be a trend to put the port between your breasts but lower down below bra level (if you're a female) or in the similiar spot on a male. Sternum maybe??? Supposedly they can access the port better where there isn't so much fat like in our tummies. I dunno but that is where it is. If I needed the Heimlich done and it was done properly it would push the port in pretty violently. Naturally I would rather live (duh) then die with an uninjured port but due to its placement it does bear discussing or at the very least an awareness.
