What The Heck!

I'm about 6 weeks post op. the past month I've been able to eat a little more than I thought i'd be able to and just the other day all of a sudden I'm getting full off a single bite. Is this common or should I worry?

I'm six weeks post op as well and feel that I can eat more than I thought I would. I don't know if what you are experiencing is common, but I hope it happens to me!

When you're in the stages of blender foods and soft foods, you really can hold a little more because the runnier the texture, the more quickly it goes through (that's why no drinking with food). When you start to eat more solid foods like chicken or tuna- BAM. You're full right now. Is this what you've experienced? Is it the more solid foods suddenly making you more full?

Actually I've been on solids for 2 weeks now. So this whole eating and bam full thing is not what has been going on. That's why I'm worried. I have an appt to see my surgeon. Or well his assistant, to see if I have any leaks and I will ask her about it.
