I am almost 5 weeks post op and have a horrible pain on my left side. Def feels to be in the muscle like a strain or something. I did take battery of tractor but was fine until hours later when I laughed for 2 hours with a friend of mine. Dr sppt 1030 tomorrow. Anyone else have this?

Lots of us have some abdominal pain on the left or right side a few weeks out. I'm not sure what causes it exactly, possibly healing/dissolving of internal stitches? Ask your doc about it at your appointment, but it's probably nothing. Of course, if you have a fever, bleeding, or the pain is super bad, call your doc or head to the ER.

No fever or anything that makes me fearful of a leak just a really painful muscle pain. It does seem to be very near an insetion site.

There are definitely some internal stitches near the largest incision site. You probably pulled it some with changing the battery and then laughing like crazy today. I had mysterious pains here and there, but everything was okay. I'm betting it will be the same for you!

Yup tore an internal stitch. Keep a heating pad on it and go on about my aftercare. Great news.
