Sleep Apnea Concerns

For any of you that have had surgery in Mexico, if you had sleep apnea did your surgeon take any extra precautions?

Be sure to tell the doctor and take your CPAP machine to Mx. Most like to put you on it in recovery. You said you had sleep apena in the questionaire right? If your using a coordinator tell/remind them also. They will instruct you on what to do.

I have sleep Apnea and had my surgery in Mexico. I was very groggy in recovery and my O2 levels kept dropping due to my Apnea but all in all I was fine. I didn't have my cpap machine yet so I didn't have it to bring. If you have one i would suggest bringing it with you.

Good Luck!
