Calorie Intake And Stalling

I am lost at how my new body works. I have lost 53 pounds in 5 weeks, but I stall for three days and then lose two pounds in a day. I am eating 800 calories some days and 1,200 other days. Usually, I am burning 1,000 calories through exercise. I think I throw my body into starvation mode when I eat less than 900 calories and don't eat all day. I am 5 weeks post op, so I am doing good, but I guess I am expecting to lose 1 to 2 pounds a day, like I did pre-op and the first two weeks.

As a female I have done 1,001 diets and the first 2 weeks always work fast mostly due to reduction in salt intake and the fluids move out quickly giving us a wonderful weight loss for the first few weeks!. Wow 53 pounds in 35 days amazing thats over a pound a day. When was the last time a long term diet did that for you? Be patient it will all work out fine. Keep up the good work!
