May 24, 201214 yr I love fat free milk and I normally drink it with dinner. Is that a nono? I use to have the band and i def was not allowed to eat and drink
May 24, 201214 yr That is a no no. It is not because a drink would have too many calories, it is so that you can get the proper amount of food in before you are full. Some people say it also stretches your stomach (jury is out on that one though). However, it does flush things through faster so you are hungry again sooner.
May 24, 201214 yr I drink about 4oz of liquid with my meal of iced tea or 1% milk. I have no issues. Milk has protein so it's not likely displacing much protein you would have taken in without drinking.
