Milwaukee Area Vsg Surgeons? Chicago?

Hi all-

I know one of my pet peeves on other forums is when people ask questions that they could have easily found by searching - but I came up with no results with Milwaukee and surgeons.

Anyhooo...

I was working with dr Alvarez's patient coordinator when I finally let my husband in on my plan for WLS. He's not crazy about the idea, but would feel much better if I had surgery closer to home (Milwaukee, Chicago or nearish to there).

I am self-pay but luckily $$ is not an issue. I'd rather be heathy than have a new car!

Long story short: I am looking for a VSG surgeon in my general area. Your input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

L

I am going with Mahed Jandali in Kenosha. That would be halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. I've heard a lot of really positive feedback from various patients of his.

Thanks!

I was sleeved by Dr. Regan at Columbia St. Mary's in Milwaukee. It's a great team and they keep you informed and provide a lot of support. There's also a bariatric program at Aurora. I attended their information session and it seemed like they make you do all the work when dealing with the insurance. St. Mary's took care of everything for me.
