Clearing My Throat.

For the past week or so I have had a build up of saliva in the back of my throat which makes me feel the need to clear it constantly. I am 4 weeks post-op today and it happens whether I have just eaten or not. It doesn't seem to be foamy and nothing feels stuck, just more of a collection of slime that I'm always trying to cough up. Anybody else having this feeling?

I have been going through that a lot lately. Some times I even have to spit because it gets to be to much. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has this problem. Hope it goes away soon for both of us.

Yeah, I had it too, the foamy spit is just gross! I was hocking up lugies all the time too. Not sure what causes it but I'm glad it did clear up, although occasionally I have a bout - but not near as bad.
