Why aren't the tickers working?

Recommended Posts

What's up with the tickers? Mine isn't working & I am noticing that I can't see anyone else's tickers. Anyone know? :rolleyes

I can see yours. Haven't noticed problems w/ any others. But the tickers link directly from tickerfactory.com, and aren't stored locally here, so if there's something wrong it's probably on their end. If they "disappear" for a while, probably a server down for a bit or something.

WOW!! I don't see any of your tickers at all. There's just a small little box with an X in it on the left corner where it's supposed to be. I'm confused!!!

I just tried to go to Ticker Facotry & this notice came up:

Norton Anti-virus has blocked access to this restricted sight.

Any chance you're using a different browser or computer than normal, or that you would have done anything to change your internet settings?

Right click on a ticker and copy what it says next to "Address: (URL)." Enter that into your browser's address bar, and see if you can view the item directly. If not, and others can see the same ticker, it's probably something local to you.

I'm at home on the same computer I always use. I am thinkin' my husband may have installed a new virus protection & somehow it's messing up some stuff on my computer. I'll have my husband check it out.

Thanks for all the responses. At least I know the problem is on my side.

You may want to check your Advanced settings under Tools/Internet Options. If your husband installed new anti-virus software, sometimes they change the defaults.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
