i just finished my 6 months in april...it definitely goes by fast! glad you found the forum :)) its a great support system

I'm doing the same thing. I've been able to shave a month of when I originally started because my PCP is willing to fill out the necessary form using my physical in January as the start of my diet. He was sleeved last year so he's really supportive.

A lot of people get frustrated about this requirement but I think if you look at it as a ramp up period to make the necessary adjustments (not drinking while eating, upping protein, cutting out caffeine, carbs and sugar, etc.), you'll be much better prepared than if you could go in tomorrow and have the surgery. Fortunately, we're all in this together. Hang in there and the time will fly!
