Yes, it's very normal to have these doubts. But, they will clear up very quickly once you're back on solid foods. Just take deep breaths and hold on. It will get better in a hurry!

Hi everyone. I am a week out from my surgery and doing pretty well for the most part. I am having difficulties getting my liquids and protein in (I'm getting in about 50 oz of water, and probably 30 grams of protein) I'm still on the clear liquid phase, so I have been playing around with adding unflavored Unjury to crystal light and chicken broth. Can't exactly say that I'm a huge fan. I'm now starting to second guess myself, wondering if this was the right thing to do. Is this a normal phase to go through at this point? I am already down 26 lbs since a week and a half before surgery so that's nice to see, I'm just having a hard time mentally.
