Egd In An Hour

I'm having my egd in an hour and don't really know what expect. I stopped drinking and eating at midnight but I guess I'm just wondering if it's painful at all? And does the medication they give you make you kind of loopy for too long? How was your experience with the egd? Thanks! :)

    Egd I am assuming is the endoscopy? No prob at all. Groggy for about an hour after. Biggest complaint was how dry your throught is. But you can eat and drink right after. No pain.
