Don't weigh yourself everyday and this question mostly goes away...day to day you are going to fluctuate due to Water and wastes and more. Weekly or less you can "see" the overall picture.

Get a tshirt that is too tight to wear, but big enough to put on - a sausage caseing comes to mind (for me) - then try it on about every other week - you are going to be amazed...keep a new size handy too - so that you always have a tight one and a "loser" one...this will help you see the weight loss even when the scale isn't moving.

Good luck!

Yeah you are right about the scale!! I'm going to tell my husband to hide it!!!

Also the tshirt sound a great idea thats when you really see the progress i guess... Thanks for the suggestions ;)

Lol thanks for ur post! I was beginning to worry!

When you're so close out from surgery it does become an addiction weighing yourself. My husband DID hide our scale. It's the best thing he could've done. I was up and down the same two pounds and was getting upset daily. Good luck
