Right Side Pain

Hi guys

Just wanted to put this question out there. Everytime I eat I get a dull pain in my right side back like near my waist. Anyone know what that may be? Or have you experienced anything like that? I am 1 month out. Thanks

Could be your gallbladder. You may need to have this checked out. Call your doctor and let them know. An ultrasound is generally used to confirm. If you have episodes of extreme pain that come and go, it's a high probability. I'm about a month out too, I had right hand pain near my ribcage, front...and the doctor said it was probably too much tension on the internal stitches in that area as they have to get thru the muscle to do the surgery and get the instruments in and pull the excess stomach out. I had to rest for 2 days and then I was good...this was 2 weeks out. No pain after that at all.

Good luck.

I actually had my gall bladder out last year. That's why I'm confused.

Pain got so bad today after lunch so I called my doc. Nurse said it was common to have this pain at 4 to 5 weeks. Sutures are stretching and when I eat my tummy expands so it pugged against them.
