Post Op 3 1/2 Weeks

I wanted to know if anyone else has felt very nauseas with diarrhea 3 weeks post op. I called my doctor and he told me to go back to bland or liquid diet for a week, he said it could be a bug that I caught or I had some fruit and he said it probably it was too much sugar in my stomach and irritated it. The nausea is the worse along with the dry heaving. Please any suggestions about this issue and how long did it last.

A week after surgery I had diareah. I didn't have nausea or dry heaving, but my doctor said the same thing "probably caught a stomach bug". I felt terrible - and I had a very hard recovery... They are probably right, and it may set you back a little bit during your recovery, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Hope this helps :)
