Gallbladder

I am due for VSG surgery on June 20. Last night I believe I had a gallbladder attack. If I can hold off until June 20, do you think they could do the gallbladder at the same time that they do VSG?

    Hi there!

    YES!! My surgeon required a gall bladder ultrasound a few days before surgery so that if it looked like I had stones or developing problems, he could take it out at the time of surgery. Good luck to you and congratulations on your surgery!!

    They should be able to! It's better that way - if you do it separately, then the 2nd operation would be more difficult because of adhesions.
