are you supposed to be concerned with carbs during the clear liquid stage. I am not getting in many calories. I am able to get in soul my protein and water but not many calories should I be concerned

I think at this point, we are supposed to be more worried about calories. My surgeon wants me to stay between 800 and 1000 calories on liquids for 2 weeks.

I didn't worry about calories or carbs during my liquid phase post op.

Yes, the above is a good question along with how long are you on the clear liquid stage? I am only on Clear Liquids one day before surgery and from 2nd day after surgery until release from hospital. I am on liquids for two weeks prior and from hospital discharge until 2 weeks after....but not clear liquids.

after sleeve how am I supposed to get the calories in with only protein shakes and water.

I'm gonna follow this and hope for some good answers. I'll have my sleeve done on May 5th.
