Almunza April 18 ,2012

My surgery date is April 18, 2012 with Dr. Almanza I can't hardly wait I hear so much about him all good....My insurance was a no go all around the board they would rather wait till something was wrong with me like high blood pressure, which I just started taking the little blue pill (for high blood pressure) right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or diabetes or something like that / before my doctor would even offer the suggestion!!!! Any doctor in the U.S. could look at my chart and see my BMI has always been 35+ so!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm playing doctor and fixing myself.................. Not that overweight people not cool, cuz they are and so am I as a big-girl, I'm just done with that part of my life time for a change (one straight- up) for the better of me....... Wish me luck and as soon as I can, I will post about my journey as you all have done. Which has really helped me with my life changing decision Thanks all........... !!!!!

My surgery date it's the same as yours and I'm so anxious. I had to go and find a comorbidity (I barely had sleep apnea) so I got my insurance to cover it. Good luck! I'm doing my pre op diet right now.
