Why Does It Hurt

Uh every time I lay down it feels like someone is squeezing my stomach and twisting it. It hurts so bad and wakes me up every night. Anyone else have that feeling? On a brighter note, I'm 9 days post op and down 20lbs. :)

It could be nothing, perhaps just a bit of pressure on an internal stitch which is most likely. But, this early post-op, it could also be something that needs attention. Call your doctor's office and talk to them. It will make you feel better for them to say either come in or don't worry about it.

Hmm, this does not sound right. First of all I'd recommend asking the doctor as pain significant enough to wake you at night is just NOT right. It may be really nothing as Lissa explained, then again it might be a leak or torsional problem.

Please see the doctor as soon as you can.
