Hello from San Antonio

Hello everyone! I'm so glad to have found this forum. I was banded on June 22, 2006 and received my first fill last Wednesday, August 2nd. I'd lost 14 lbs. before the fill and have lost 6 more since. Before the fill I could eat whatever I wanted though I followed the diet pretty carefully. I was happy with the weight loss (I started at 244),less joint pain, lower blood pressure, etc. Since I've had the fill (8 days) I am constantly in pain. One bite (cottage cheese) can cause radiating pain through my chest and back that lasts several hours. Same thing with a sip of water or no-calorie Crystal Light. When I can drink 3 oz. of water over an hour and a half it's miraculous. But that's happened only once, yesterday. Is this normal? I can't find anything in my information pack from the WISH CENTER that talks about this part. But, it's because of this unpleasant phenomenon that I happened to find this place. And, on top of it all, my stomach growls and growls. :omg: Any helpful words would certainly be appreciated.

Brenda

Welcome to the board. Sounds like you may be too tight. Call your doctor and tell him what is happening. Let us know how things go. Good luck!
