Just wanted to introduce myself. I am Susan, and I head into surgery this Tuesday morning. I had the bypass in 2004 - starting weight 345. I got down to around 200, but gradually put it back on. I "never" felt that my pouch was small enough. I even remember telling the doc that I felt I could eat way more than I should be able to at 3 months. Of course, through the years, I developed the bad habits like diet sodas, straws, too many carbs.... I am back up to 300. My hubby says if I screw this one up he's leaving, lol - hence my screen name. New company for my hubby and his insurance will NOT pay for my surgery. The company is willing to pay for it, which we are blessed by. However, I know come tax time next year it will hit us hard coming up with the tax portion on $28,000.
