Can I Get Away With It....

Hello All,

Just a thought that ran through my mind today and has now taken over my though process. LOL.

I'm on month 2 of my physician supervised diet documentation (need total of 3 months) and have seen the dietician, & today I go see the Psych for my Psych evaluation. I was thinking when I go to my 3rd Doctors visit (to start my third month) that we can just submit the paperwork to the insurance, right then and there.

Has anyone else gotten away with 3 months of diet documentation with only doing two full months, but a total of 3 doctors visits? Make sense? =T

I'm so impatient and want my surgery date! (Can you tell?) LOL.

The doctor will be able to tell you when you can submit - they are likely very familiar with the insurance processes. My doctor's office had sheets for each insurance carrier with the specific requirements for each one; they would give each patient the appropriate sheet and check off what was still needed.
