Today is my first weight loss consultation. I know what I want to do and didn't want to waste time by going to the information meeting. I know I want the vertical sleeve. I pray the doctor doesn't try to convince me of something else.

I'm nervous, excited and scared. This is a new chapter in my life.

Welcome and enjoy the journey. It's for life though I had a hard time being patient with the process and jumping through hoops. So glad I did though and you will be too!

Welcome!!!!! I am almost 5 months post-op and the time has just flown by.....so much fun to get up each morning now.....it's a wonderful adventure and every day I am thankful I bought this ticket to a new life! Well first off good luck and congrats on getting started! I think it's good that you know what you want and why and I think your surgeon will respond positively to that.

It is completely normal to be nervous/scared/excited/etc. I think we all feel/felt that way! About a year ago I went to my info session and now I am sleeved and down 100 lbs... it goes quickly!

Keep us updated, you definitely came to the right place for advice and strong shoulders!
