Pre-bander

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this site but I've been reading all your posts and find it very helpful! I started looking into banding about 5 months ago and I'm finally ready to take the plunge! I have my first surgeon appointment on 8/13. I'm hoping my insurance will pay but am willing to go ahead with my own cash if they don't (my health is just too important)! I'm looking foward to joining you all on the other side!

    Welcome Marsha,I am also pre-band for a few more hours yet,I am scheduled for surgery at 11AM tomorrow.I am a little nervous and just can't sit still today.Good luck with getting approval, many of us had no problems and then many have had problems getting approved.I think it all depends on the insurance company.Roxanne
