It's Thursday Thinker Time!

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it still make a sound? Probably, but the world will never know!

Thursday Thinker is pretty simple, here's how it works... Post a topic, question, quote, whatever, for all of us to think about for the day. Again, sleeve related or not. And if you want to open up a dialog about your thinker or someone elses thinker, please post a separate thread for it so we can all enjoy the thinkers here ;-)

Enjoy!

Sometimes the mirror shows me a younger, thinner version of myself because that's the image I have in my head. The big shocker is when I see a picture of myself looking so bloated. Getting better though.

Catracks you are so right. I always see a younger version of myself and realize I need to work on this. I am learning to love myself in many different ways. I realize that I avoid looking at myself in the mirror up to now and have consciously been looking in the mirror now. I am taking new pictures or myself (in my mind's eye) to reflect back. ;)

One thing I have always and still struggle with is that I will dress up, makeup on, hair done..feeling so good about myself but then when I get to where I'm going,,I feel very insecure and not so pretty. I've done this since I was young and thinner and as my larger self. I don't know why. Does anyone else do this and do you have any suggestions as to how I can stop that?
