another newbie

I had my first visit yesterday with Dr Curry in Cincinnati. No psy eval, but he wants to do an egd. I would have rather seen a shrink. Anyway now I have to wait for the insurance to ok all this before I can set my surgery date. I have a feeling this wait will take forever:rolleyes:

    Hi pjk!

    I did everything( physical,psyc. eval.,sleep study, cardic and stress test) THEN my insurance denied me! I was sooo mad. My BMI was not high enough (38) So anyway I decided to research Mexico and found Dr. Ortez. I am scheduled for Sept 1st. This is self pay but so less the hassel. I hope your insurance goes through with no problem. Good luck!
