Tea Causing Reflux And Other Questions?

I have a burning in my throat and at night I feel like it is on fire. Nothing comes up but I suspect that it is reflux. Has anyone had this type of reflux? I was telling my husband about it and he mentioned tea causes reflux. Have you heard this? Wondering if I should do an OTC medication or if I should just call in for a prescription. Help? Also does it get worse as you add mushies and solids to your plan?
