I'm new at this....thanks for the welcome. Do you know anything @ Dr. Ameri? Are you from Dallas? What has your experience been like since the surgery?

Thanks, Jan 345

Hi Jan345

I don't know your doctor. Yes I live just north of Dallas in Allen.

Went through surgery with flying colors. No problems healing. Had my first fill the first week of July. I have "stalled" on weight loss. Mainly because I bought a new scale and it weighs quite differently than my old one. Have only had it a few days and it was my TOM so I hope it will read a little differently in a couple of days:nervous .

See my doc again the 25th of August and can get a second fill after that. I have a VanGuard band and it typically takes 2 - 3 fills to reach optimal restriction.

I have to say I have been cheating somewhat on my food intake this past week. But today is a new day and I am going to do better.

I have only had two episodes where something "stuck". This would be my worst problem so far and believe me you learn from it.

So far so good. Still learning though.

Myra
