need some advice please

Hello all I was banded on july 21st 2006 and have been doing ok since then but just in the past couple of days I have had a bad pain under my right breast and it hurt to take a deep breath it hurt to lay on my stomach. I feel full all the time like I over ate ( or should I say over drank ) but I do not think I have I am doing what I am suppose to maybe I am drinking to fast can this cause the pain I am feeling? Please has anybody experienced this pain and can give me some advice??

I'm not a doctor, but even a week out from surgery, the pain you are describing could still be gas pains. Are you taking liquid GAS-X or something similar to that? Try a heating pad under your shoulder, or wherever it feels good to you. Try a warm bath. Move around, walk. It took a full two weeks for me to be free of the gas pains in my body. They are not just contained in the intestines!

I know it is uncomfortable...you will feel better soon, though! Hang in there, and call the doc if it doesn't improve!

I have the same feeling and I am 4 days out from surgery. I only have it 30 mins or so after I eat (drink) Mine does go away though. I am courious what your doc said have you called them yet? keep us posted...

Called doctor and he said what I was feeling was indeed NORMAL. I guess I do not associate pain with NORMAL. But oh well A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do and for me that is weight loss.
