3-days Post Gastric Sleeve Surgery

Here I am, 3-days post op. My voice is getting stronger, but my body is weak. I got in almost 54 grams Protein and 64 oz of fluids.

Funny, I can sip like 2oz and I have no problems....any thoughts to that?

Hey sleeve twin, Same here, I hope its not a problem. I mean it's not like I slam or gulp it, but I can drink 8 oz of Isopure zero carb in about oh..30 minutes? So far today, here at 5:30, I have had 48 ounces of liquid, and 32 oz of Protein. I need at least 8 more of protein and 16 of liquid, lots of work yet to do.

Hey LooserMomma,

First, Merry Christmas and I hope things are going well for you since your surgery.

Again, I'm hitting the marks on my Fluid, but not the evil nasty Protein. I'm hitting in the 50's, but dear me this stuff taste AWFULL! I can at least put down the chocolate pudding/shake from my doc. I've tried unjury unflavored (yeah, there's an egg white flavor to me). Myoplex Van which leaves a cool whip greasiness on my lips and mouth.

At this point, I'm forcing the Unjury in stock and uping the skim milk to 2-cups a day to get the protein.
