Nut Dr. Couldn't Have Cared Less...

so i'm just gonna rant and rave (short one) right now so bare with me...

SOOOOOO, I had my nut eval last week on Wednesday and the Doctor couldn't have cared less about me or why I was there. He didn't ask me crap!!! just made me fill out a "questionaire", asked what my parent's and sibling's weight was, if i took drugs and what i have tried to lose weight!!!

He was so effin monotone, bored and looked like he was frustrated with me. then he just gave me two sheets of paper with questions that ranked my "depression" and the other was an observation of my behavior. He said, "look at these and bring them back in 10 days. Thank you."

I don't know whether I'm suppose to fill them out or wait til i see him again and have him "observe my behavior."

Has anyone had a nut who needed to see them twice?? or has had one that was just plain uninterested in you? I payed 25 bucks for a guy to sit there and go through the motions...

Am I thinking too much into this??

I just don't want him to "fail" me! :banghead: :nonod:

  • My advice: Let it slide. Some people are just a$$holes and there is nothing you can do to change it. If you get what you need from them then just ignore them. I know it's hard and I know I've wanted

You know I was thinking the same thing. Food is comfort to me I eat when I am happy sad having fun. So I'm in my 6 mo stage and I'm working on my mental state and I am working with the nut and I think its good for me to see mental health... extra steps and extra money I don't have but I feel like I'm having a surgery on my stomach and not my brain so I have to work on the habits that are bad and look for new good ones to bring balance you know?

Well, i'm glad I'm not the only one. It's hard to convince my mind to do what I want! Lol!! Sometimes i think, "this will be easy! I'm going to eat [insert yummy food here] right now cuz I'm not going to be able to eat it later." Then i slap myself and think how stupid i was for eating it! It's soooo frustrating!!!!

Can I get a hell no your not the only one. What I can say is you see you have a problem as do I my self, and it's a habit I've had all my life. Now I have the motivation and a tool(soon in the late spring) that will help me if I help it. Will I f up sometimes yes am I afraid hell yes, but I can't make fear a factor if the fear is killing me. I fight with my self each day to make better choices so I'm with you..
