We are on our way!! Today we start our travels from our remote community in the Yukon. Here is the travel plan for the next few days (it is nuts):

-today drive 400km to Whitehorse

-tomorrow fly to Vancouver and then Edmonton where we are dropping the kids off with the grandparents

-Sunday fly back to Vancouver and then to Seattle

Oh my! We will get there eventually. Thankfully, it looks like the airline we are taking will no longer be striking- so my head will not be exploding from the stress of that anymore.

Monday I have a few pre-op appointments and then surgery on Wednesday. We will be in a hotel outside of Seattle for 10 days. Good thing I booked up a nice suite with internet!

Hopefully I have everything packed! Away we go!

Oh, Kara....I'm thinking about you! You're a day before me, but will only be about 20 miles away......can't wait to share stories!
