Pain on right side lower back

Over the last two days after getting out of bed I have been having a sharp knife twisting like pain in my right side lower back, It feels like a muscle spasms.

Has any one hand stones or does that pain come from the back?

I am going to the doctor tomorrow, I am just over three weeks new/out.

i'm reporting the same thing. 3 days of this and I'm ready to go to the emergency room.

I had a stabbing pain a couple of inches to the right of my belly button, which eventually went away by the time I was about a month out. I think it was some sort of referred pain as I didn't have an incision there.

I hope your docs give both of you the all clear. Keep us posted as to how you get on.

Could be a kidney stone or even gallbladder....pain can refer to right back or shoulder. If it continues I would get it checked out.
