I was sleeved on aug 30th , so it has been 2 weeks, yes i went through the 1st week of ahhhhhhhhh really, did i really do this to myself, but wow in 2 weeks i am a new woman, anyway day 8 comes and my surgon calls to tell me that i have cancer, its called gist, they found it on the outside of my old tummy when she pulled it out, they are pretty sure it was not in the shedding stage, and it was very small in the 1st stage so now i am off to the cancer clinic on the 23rd, i am praying that it was the only one, so what i want to say is the sleeve saved my life..............they said it would of never been found had i not had the sleeve, and that would not have been good..

How wonderful that they found it so early.... prayers for you and your speedy recovery from surgery and moving on through the next phase of treatment/recovery for the sarcoma.
