WOW Did that ever feel good!

Recommended Posts

I keep being complimented by the people I see regularly in my life. I thought that would end sooner, but so far so good.

I was sitting in the hospital waiting room today and some people were asking if it would bother me if they held their weight watchers meeting in there. I said .I didn't mind at all (My wife was having a hernia repair is all). I mentioned that I knew the leader of the group and she asked me, " Did you used to have a weight problem?". Like it was past tense. I don't think of it as that and that it may still be a struggle day by day, but what a compliment !!!!!!!!

Made my day!:lol::rolleyes::lol::rolleyes:B):P

Wow! What a great compliment! :P I will have a hard time not hugging a person that ever asks me that question.

I'm a teacher, and I had my surgery last April at the end of our semester. The incoming freshmen still look really confused when one of my prior students says something complimentary to me--because they don't know me at 300+ pounds (thank goodness!).

I'm with you, though--I would be celebrating up a storm if someone asked me that!!

someone at work told me the other day....man you're losing weight, I can see it in your face. That really felt good when usually people like to pat me on the stomach and say "twins??" lol

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
