This might sound kind of funny but I went to see the doc last week for my regular post op check up. He suggested I start taking Miralax daily. Since then I have been "going" once a day and the scale has started to move again. My question is: is the scale moving just because of the Miralax? When I stop taking it, am I going to gain the weight back?

I think of all the other failures and how the weight always came back. I really don't want that to happen this time. And I am following all of the guidelines.

No Mirilax is not a diet aid, it simply helps you to eliminate what is going to come out in "the end" anyway

There is no harm in being on it indefinitely, I've used it for years.
