i need some info..

Wed I will be a week out but I really didn't leave the hospital till Sunday??? Couldn't hold any thing down..now I'm wondering if I should start purred foods?? Or wait tell Sunday??

Of course follow your doctor's instructions - but if I had had trouble holding things down, I would go pretty slow moving from liquids to pureed foods.

Go slow for sure! Don't rush things. Count day one as the day you got out and then REALLY listen to your body when you try things.

Per my doc's instructions, I can't have purees until 2 weeks out. I was allowed full liquids from the time I left the hospital, so I can have creamy soups. If you are having problems, first, take any anti-nausea medication if your doc gave you any. If not, call them tomorrow and get some. Then go with just thin liquids until you feel like you can keep stuff done. I had some vomited while still in the hospital, but not since then, but I did take the anti-nausea stuff the first two days home.
