How am I doing?

I was sleeved by Dr. Aceves on July 11 and am down 27 pounds. I am 5' 8" and weighed 224 pounds on the day of surgery and weigh 197 pounds today. Is this good? Bad? Average? My face is thinner, but I'm still wearing the same sized clothes and don't look any different! I'm not counting calories or carbs, but I am careful to eat protein first which doesn't give me much room for extras. I feel good, if a bit tired. I'm still having trouble with reflux, but it's controlled with meds. I'm curious to know how I'm doing. Thanks for any comments!

The question should be "are you happy with your loss?". The weight loss happens so differently for everyone. I don't know how much you have to lose to get to goal so there's no way to calculate percentage of weight lost to give you that number. Pounds lost are so random. I started out heavier so I lost more pounds than you, but we could have the same percentage of weight lost.

As for clothes sizes, I didn't drop sizes until I had lost about 50-60lbs.

I was sleeved July 8th and I have lost 26 pounds. From 251 to 225. We are on the same little track here. I wish I was where you are already though. I think we are doing great how bout you. wink.gif

I was sleeved July 12. I started the day of surgery at 277. This morning I was 250.8 so that is a loss of 26 lbs since surgery. Sounds like we are on the same track in regards to pounds lost.
