How honest can I be?

Hi Folks,

My other half and I are both considering having the gastric sleeve and we are thinking about Mexico - I am not sure how gay friendly Mexico is (We are from the UK) Do you think us being partners would be problematic? Does anyone have any experience?

Thanks so much!!

Brie

Yes! Mexico has marriage equality and allows adoption by gay couples. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/07/world/americas/07mexico.html

I don't see why that would be a problem. I know that friends have gotten sleeved together, and they were accomodating, so I don't see why they wouldn't equally accommodate a gay couple. Good luck to you both!
