My friend and I are going for surgery with Dr. Kelly on August 6th. My question is.. do we have to stay at the Lucerna hotel for two days after the two day hospital stay or can we just stay one night at the hotel? Is two better and do most people stay the two in hotel?

Thanks... just need to know for flight return times.

Also.. is the hotel far from the hospital if we have problems?

Hi, I just had surgery with Dr. Kelly on 7/13 and I think it is necassary that you stay 2 days at Lucerna.. They come visit you at the hotel.. I am not sure how far it is from the hospital that the surgery is performed at but when you leave the hospital you go to another hospital to have a leak test and it is 2 blocks from that hospital.. I only stayed one night, but I stayed at the Hacienda Del Rio because Lucerna was booked up. It's up to you but I'd let Trish or whoever, know your plans before you schedule your flight. I wish I had stayed the extra nIght because I was enjoying myself and hanging out with my sleeve sisters. I hear Lucerna is very nice too. Good luck to y'all please update on how things are going! Oh, and the hotels are close to Dr Kellys office from what I understood.

Thanks Kelly.. I've read a lot of your posts and am grateful for the info. We are really excited and I can't wait to stop waking up on a diet every morning of my life!

Thanks Julia, the great part is it doesn't even feel like a diet at all. It's just eating smaller/ normal meals. After the liquid diets pre and post it is really great! I have my whole MX experience now in my "about me" section now. And a few pics in the glallery. Take care!!
