Early stall

Is it normal to stalll 1 week out? I am 10 days out and have been stalled since day 7. Getting in almost 60 ounces of water daily but need to step up the protein

I wouldn't call 3 days a stall, per se. You will lose, just focus on getting your fluids in at this point. Your body is probably still in shock, and I think all bodies respond to it differently 12 lbs in 7 days or even 10 is nothing to sneeze at.

This is why my surgeon and dietician recommend weighing only once per week - not every day. On a daily basis your weight will fluctuate for a variety of reasons. All that will happen is frustration at the scale. Weigh yourself once per week and you won't get as frustrated with the scale.

A true stall is one that lasts a couple of weeks with no weight loss or inches lost. You're not in a stall yet. Your body is still adjusting to the surgery.
