Got my approval Letter!!!!!!

So, I thought I would have to wait until next week sometime to find out, but had a letter in the mail today from UHC saying that I am covered. I'm very excited. I should still be able to schedule my July 22nd surgery and still keep everything on track now. Very very excited....so planning to start my pre-op diet on July 8th....with my diet consultation on the following Monday the 11th. So very happy! The only thing I am worried about is I also start a summer class and will have a Tuesday and Thursday Class after the surgery. :/ Worried about pushing it....and hoping I can be there mentally. Will have 4.5 days to heal before the Tuesday Class.

So Excited though!!!!!!

I think it is quite a while before you can lift or do weights. I think I've heard 6 weeks or when the doctor clears you! Walking I think you can start doing right away. Starting out slow of course. We will be sleeve buddies...but it looks like I get to go first unless something changes. Good luck my friend. When are you starting your pre-op diet? I will start mine next Friday, July 8. I'm nervous sometimes too, but I've had several surgeries in my life and they have all went well....so I focus on that and how good the pain pills will be. :P
