Diabetic

Hi there, I haven't been sleeved yet, however, I've started really watching my intake of food, along with portion control, and having some issues with really low blood sugars(56-79 on a daily basis). What my question is: If you were a type II Diabetic before being sleeved, and on medication. What's it like after being sleeved? do you have much more problem with being hypoglycemic instead? How long did it take to get off of the medications? Thanks for any help or advice,

JJ

I stopped my meds about two weeks prior to surgery because my food intake was so low, (surgeon's orders). I did not have to start them again either, so far.
