Night before Surgery

Well Hi Everyone, it is the night before my surgery and I starting to get a little nervous. I know I'm making the right health decision for myself just praying everything goes well. I just had my last white rice dinner with mushroom chicken and I enjoyed it. My kids were just sent to my aunts house for the next few days and I gave them a very long kiss goodbye. I am asking that you say a little prayer for me as you say your goodnite prayers,. I will write on Tuesday when I am released from the hospital. I Will be speaking to you later everyone.:rolleyes:

Best of luck! I'll be in your shoes next Monday evening, mine is the 21st.

Exciting, you can do this. It is totally normal to be nervous. I was nervous the night before. Then I had a long talk with God and gave all my worries over to Him. I woke up calm and at peace and felt that way ever since!

I will be waiting for your update....see you on the other side!

i will say a prayer, best wishes to u!:rolleyes:

Good luck EJ;

You are in our prayers. Be sure to keep us posted on your recovery.

I was with you till last Thursday night, the unknown...I now am feeling good, I got out of the hospital on Monday am, first day home and I am going to be ok.... A little quiet time is good for the soul. God is in control and he will give you peace. Just relax and do what the dr. tells you. You will feel so much better in awhile. You did it!!

You will be just fine! Yes,my prayers are with you, and I look forward to hearing your story :) I was the reverse of you.. I was only nervous AFTER the operation, when I had the thoughts of the tough task of managing diets etc..However, the stories that the members have shared are very positive, so i look forward to sharing stories with everyone myself, being new to the group.

All the best Mama!

:rolleyes:Hi Everyone, Well I had my surgery on Monday @1045am am by the Grace of God and your Prayers everthing went well. Sorry it took me a little long to update i wasn't near my computer. Well I feel great, I haven't had to take the pain meds since I left the hospital Tuesday afternoon and it's now Thursday. I've been walking and breathing to pass the gas and it's working. I did something I said I would not do and that is stepped on a scale. LOL I lost 6 pounds already all fluid but I still fealt good. I will be starting stage 2 foods tomorrow and i'm not sure if i want to try cream of wheat or applesauce. But I have no choice. Thanks everyone for the support that you give on this site. I don't comment much but I read the blogs everyday and it helped me with my surgery. :P
