I CAN'T GET SICK!!!

i had a volunteer come work in my office last week.. she got sick (flu symptoms).. i've been feeling like my body wants to come down with some so i've doubling up on my vit c. now my nurse is sick (flu with fevers).. I started getting scratchy throat, stuffy nose.. I'm trying not to be paranoid.. I'm suppose to fly out on frid to mexico for my surgery. I CANT AFFORD TO GET SICK!!!

Call your surgeon and see what he says. Stress is not going to make it better. Rest often so your body can fight this, drink a lot of fluid and relax.

wash wash wash your hands! I can't stress this enough...I'm almost OCD about it, for real. Everyone (husband AND all 3 kids) came down with that horrible swine flu that went around a couple years ago. I was taking care of everyone and running myself ragged. I even took 2 of my kids to the emergency room (trapped in a Mustang with two sickos ..UGH! lol) but I washed my hands anytime I had to hand them meds, food, went to the bathroom...ANYTHING. I never came down with it and the only thing I can figure is because I'm so freaky about washing my hands. Seriously, it prevents a lot!
