I did it!!!

Surgery was on thursday morning and i was dismissed from the hospital friday pm. The hardest part so far has been the gas pains. I've been taking the Meds they gave me, but haven't had much relief. I'm still taking some pain meds and will have to be on clear liquids until Thursday when I can change to full liquids. I feel like ive had more than my share of chicken broth so far. I'm trying to get all of my fluids in, but that too is hard. Ugh! I sure hope this gets easier as I advance to more solid foods. Clear liquids are rough!!!

Congratulations on getting the sleeve! From what others have said, getting everything in this soon after surgery is tough but it does get easier. Your stomach is rather irritated right now, so it takes time for it to settle down. Sorry you've been having pains from the gas, that should soon go away too.
